BIO
Colton has been playing music professionally in Los Angeles for over a decade and has continually expanded his skillset during this time. His career began with extensive studies of upright bass in jazz and classical music, which still serve as the foundation of his musical background and understanding, under the mentorship of multi-Grammy nominated pianist and composer David Benoit. Since then he has expanded his musical repertoire throughout multiple genres on bass and guitar. His love for music prompted him to span beyond live performance and studio sessions into creating music through more avenues.
Colton has been putting his musicality into practice as he works as a producer, songwriter, and engineer to make his vision of music a reality. His work can be heard in works back by Sony, Hans Zimmer, "Queer Eye," Frito-Lay, Minute Maid, Tom Ford, Pepsi Co., and the US Navy, as well as multiple independent artists. Colton has found his passion is collaborating with other talented artists and using his knowledge and skill set to bring the music that they dream up to life.
